Apple’s new slate of ads are stunning. They’ve gone back to the core principles of their products and focused on why people use them. Music, Photos, and Sharing…
“This is it. This is what matters. The experience of a product. How it will make someone feel.”
Well done, Apple. You’ve recognized your audience and made it simple for them to appreciate your product.
So I just upgraded to the new iPhone 4s (got it yesterday). My main motivation was the faster processor (wish it were Intel) and the significant upgrade on the camera – at 8 Megapixels, it ‘almost’ obsolesces my point and shoot… What I have been most amazed by – Siri…. it’s all it’s billed to be, and more. Consider this the first step to ‘not’ typing on your phone ever again. Well done, Apple. Also, if you haven’t read the obit from Steve Job’s sister – it’s worth a read.
Steve, you made a lasting impact on our generation. Thank you for dreaming big, daring bigger, and changing the world…. We will miss you.
Here’s to the crazy ones.
The misfits.
The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They’re not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They push the human race forward.
And while some see them as the crazy ones,
We see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think
they can change the world,
Are the ones who do.
