<p><img class="alignleft" src="http://images.fastcompany.com/images/cov140.jpg" alt="" width="130" height="159" />Intel Executive &#8216;Rockstars&#8217; have made the cover of <a href="http://www.fastcompany.com/magazine/140/intel-risks-it-all-again.html?page=0%2C0" target="_blank">this month&#8217;s edition</a> of Fast Company, and the magazine has taken an in-depth look at how the company that pays my wage has transformed itself during one of the worst economic times of our generation.  Of course, I am biased, but this is an article that&#8217;s worth the read.  My favorite line harkens back to the days of Andy Grove:</p>
<p>&#8220;<em><strong>It was former Intel CEO Andy Grove &#8212; decidedly not quiet when angry &#8212; who was famous for his &#8220;silver-bullet test&#8221;: If you had only one bullet left for your competitors, which one would you shoot?</strong></em>&#8221;</p>
<p>We&#8217;re beyond the &#8216;silver-bullet test&#8217; in my opinion &#8211; focusing on flawless execution and amazing technology rather than chambering that bullet.</p>
